Norwich City host West Ham United at Carrow Road on Saturday as they look to halt a run of five successive Premier League defeats and our football tipster has picked out three bets in the betting preview.
Norwich v West Ham Predictions
It really has been a shocking few weeks for the Canaries. After picking up draws against Arsenal and Everton and beating Manchester United it looked like Alex Neil and his men were capable of getting the points they need to stay up this season, but this woeful run they are on has seen them drop into the bottom three. With the teams around them starting to improve as the season goes on relegation is looking more and more likely. They're not scoring many (apart from what will go down as the freakiest result of the season scoring four against Liverpool and still getting beat) and they're conceding plenty. They've conceded 48 goals already this season, only Sunderland have conceded more.
As for West Ham, they go into this one on the back of a last gasp winner in extra time in the FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Liverpool midweek. They've had an impressive season, sitting in sixth place in the table. However, they've been inconsistent lately, of their last six they've won three, drawn one and lost two, those two losses have come in their last two away games.
West Ham have a few injuries to contend with. Joey O'Brien, Winston Reid and Cheikhou Kouyate all picked up knocks in that last gasp cup win and are likely to miss out. James Tomkins is unlikely to make this one and Carl Jenkinson is definitely missing but Manuel Lanzini and Diafro Sakho might be fit enough to play a part.
Norwich don't have such concerns though Graham Dorrans is likely to miss this one through illness and influential midfielder Emmanuel Tettey is suspended.
With the Canaries having to travel to leaders Leicester next and then hosting Chelsea, they really need to get something out of this game or they could find themselves deep in the relegation mire heading into next month. West Ham have struggled away at the sides who are fighting against the drop, only picking up draws at Sunderland, Swansea and Aston Villa and getting beat at Newcastle. After an energy sapping midweek game and a host of injuries, the home side could take advantage but I doubt they'll do enough for all three points.

Dimitri Payet has been a revelation this season. It's no surprise that when he is missing West Ham don't look half as dangerous. He's 8/1 with Coral to score the first goal in this one, and I think that is well worth a punt for my next Norwich v West Ham betting tip.
