City have shown off the quality and depth of their squad in recent weeks. Will Aguero and Silva be fit for Man City v Liverpool? After being without their two best players in Sergio Aguero and David Silva for a number of weeks they’re still top of the table and both are in line to make their returns to the Man City starting line-up against Liverpool this weekend. City are still without Samir Nasri who’s revealed he’s out until February, plus Wilfried Bony and Fabian Delph might miss this one too after picking up hamstring and muscle injuries.
What is Liverpool’s injury news ahead of Man City v Liverpool? They’ll welcome back ex-Man City players James Milner and Kolo Toure, and Jordan Ibe is fit enough for this one too. Another City old boy Daniel Sturridge may make his long awaited return against his former club though according to manager Jurgen Klopp he isn’t 100% fit. Jordan Henderson is still out and Mamadou Sakho is missing too with Dejan Lovren coming in to replace him.

What are the best betting tips for Man City v Liverpool? This should be an absolute cracker. City weren’t at their best in their last match against Aston Villa, missing chance after chance, but they’ve still scored 26 goals in 12 league games so far this season, the best record in the league. With the possible return of Aguero and Silva to play alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling I think there’s a few goals in this for the Blues. Defensively City have done well too, conceding only nine. However, I think Liverpool will get chances to score. Philippe Coutinho in particular is a man who seems to have stepped up a gear since the arrival of Klopp, and has scored three in two. Christian Benteke is another who can cause Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi problems. I can see Liverpool nicking a goal but it’s a City win for my football tips this weekend. Liverpool have lost four of the last five away at City and it will be five in six.
