Saturday’s live TV football gets underway with the 12.30pm kick-off in the Championship between Wolves and Huddersfield and our football tipster has picked his best three football tips.

Wolves v Huddersfield Preview

The preparations for this match in the Black Country have rather fallen by the wayside in the wake of Chairman Steve Morgan announcing he is to leave the club. His tenure has been mixed, dividing fans along the way. A spell in both the Premier League and League One demonstrates just how varied it has been.

His side got back to winning ways in midweek though with a thumping 3-0 win at Craven Cottage against Fulham. They were helped by the fact that Tom Cairney got himself sent off for the home side, but they looked like they were back to some of their better flowing football and scored a few goals along the way.

Huddersfield have also seen a recent improvement in their form. Having been entrenched in a relegation battle, they won a couple of away games and picked up a useful draw with Forest last Thursday. They also put four past Bolton and Emyr Huws has been rewarded with a call up to the Welsh squad.

Chris Powell has said he still want his side to be more attacking with their passes and he must surely be pleased with the effect that loanees Mustapha Carayol and Elliott Ward have made on the team.

For the home side, Connor Coady returns after his suspension to face his former club and he will certainly look to put one over on the men from West Yorkshire.

Wolves are still missing Nouah Dicko, but Adam Le Fondre’s goal in midweek will give optimism that more goals must surely be on the way for the former Rotherham & Reading man.

Wolves v Huddersfield Predictions

Huddersfield are unbeaten in their last seven visits to Molineux and I expect it to be tight once more for my football tips.

Wolves will certainly buoyed by their first win in four in midweek, but if The Terriers keep 11 men on the pitch, they may find it difficult to break them down. It could end up a draw, but Huddersfield may be worth taking on the handicap.

My first Wolves v Huddersfield prediction is for Huddersfield +1 on the handicap. It can be backed at 5/6 with Stan James.

Emyr Huws has been a revelation since joining from Wigan. The former Man City youngster has made quite the impact in West Yorkshire and we put him up to score against Nottingham Forest, he duly obliged and got us a winning football betting tip as his effort crashed in off the bar. I can’t desert him now and I fancy him to net again.

My second football prediction for Wolves v Huddersfield prediction is for Emyr Huws to score anytime. He’s available at 5/1 with Bet365.

I think this match will be close and although Huddersfield have won a few recently, I don’t think it will be easy here. Wolves won’t be offered the generosity of the Fulham backline and we may see a lack of goals.

My third football tip for this weekend’s Wolves v Huddersfield match is for Under 2.5 goals. It can be backed at Even money with Paddy Power.
