Premier League predictions and Swansea v Man Utd betting tips for this weekend’s Super Sunday with the best free football tips.
Our second helping of live football this Super Sunday sees Manchester United travel to South Wales to take on Swansea. The match kicks off at 4pm and here are our match predictions and betting tips.
Swansea v Man Utd Predictions
After their highest ever points total in the Premier League, Swansea City have started this season where they left off last year. Gary Monk’s men were handed a real bum deal with an opening fixture at Stamford Bridge, but still managed to head back to The Liberty with a point. Since then The Swans have picked up a further four points in the league and also booked their place in the third round of the League Cup in midweek. There have been worse starts to a season.
Opponents Manchester United have also kicked off their campaign in rather successful fashion. LVG’s side have picked up seven points from a possible nine in the league, albeit after only scoring two goals along the way. Last time out against Newcastle, they started quickly and looked like they might blow the Geordies away in the first twenty minutes. However, Newcastle weathered the storm and the game petered out into a stalemate.
There have been so such problems in the Champions League qualifiers, though, and United breezed into the group stage following a 7-1 aggregate win on over Club Brugge. Wayne Rooney ended a barren run of no goals in ten matches with a well-taken hat-trick and should head into this weekend’s clash with his confidence restored.
Prices for the match have Swansea as significant underdogs at 13/5. United can be backed at 13/10, with the draw available at 12/5.
First and foremost, 13/5 is a really tempting price for the home side. For those of you that remember, Swansea won the corresponding fixture 2-1 last season and have already shown against Chelsea that they are capable of holding their own against the big boys. However, considering United’s excellent defensive record this season, I don’t think they will have enough to beat them on Sunday. With this in mind, I can see the match ending all square.

Moving over to the goalscoring market for my next football tip this weekend and Bafetimbi Gomis has scored in every league game so far and should retain penalty kick duties for the match this weekend. However, if the French International can isolate Daley Blind in the defence, there is some real value in backing Gomis to score a header.
