It’s all off the Olympia Stadion in Berlin for the curtain closer on the European season. With no major tournament this summer, the Champions League Final is a little later than usual, but it should be equally as entertaining as previous years.
Juventus v Barcelona Predictions
Barcelona were the first team to book their place in the prestigious event as many people would have predicted. They demolished Bayern Munich in the first leg at Camp Nou as their former Head Coach found his side outclassed by the magic of Lionel Messi. Neymar scored in both legs and despite losing the second leg 3-2, it was a relatively easy passage to Berlin for the Catalan side.
After winning the Copa Del Rey with a 3-1 victory over Bilbao at the weekend, Barca can complete the treble with a victory here and Luis Enrique’s side will be the first side to twice win the treble if they are to see off Juventus.
The Italians are no slouches and they certainly aren’t in the 2015 Champions League final just to applaud Barcelona on their fine season. As we saw from the knock-out stages onwards, Juventus can scrap and fight for every minute of the 90. Under Massimiliano Allegri, they also have a superb tactician, who can organise a team and stifle opponents. He knows how to play to the strengths of his squad and he is also able to get a stranglehold of the opposition and often throw their tactics out of the window.
They have been effective in their play and although they only finished second in their group behind Atletico Madrid and scored a low amount of goals, since the beginning of the knock-out stages, they have been absolutely superb. An edgy one nil win against Monaco and a 3-2 aggregate victory over Real Madrid were both great achievements on their individual merits, but facing Barcelona at their fluid best may be another step up for the Bianconeri.
Alvaro Morata scored the winner against the club that brought him through their academy and he will be hoping to shoot down their major rivals whilst they have plenty of substance in midfield with the cultured Andrea Pirlo pulling the strings and Paul Pogba providing the dynamics.
We know all about Barcelona’s superb squad, Xavi will play his final game before heading to Al-Sadd, but the spotlight will once again fall on the holy trinity of Messi, Suarez and Neymar. Even a defence as tight and as obstinate as Juventus’ will surely struggle to contain the best forward line in the world.

I think the first bet to have on the Juventus v Barcelona Champions League final is both teams to score. It may seem an obvious direction to head, but Barca always score, but they’ve proved in recent weeks that they are susceptible at the back as well. The nuisance that is Carlos Tevez will surely ruffle a few feathers and the Argentinian is likely to either create or score a goal during the 90 minutes. Pirlo is lethal from a set piece situation and he is also a threat to the wobbly Barcelona defence.

It’s hard to predict which one of the front three will score during the 90 minutes. It could be a case of betting on all three, but with his recent form and his slightly larger price, our football tipster will be betting on Neymar to score anytime in Juventus v Baecelona. The Brazilian has been finding the back of the net with relative ease and his goals in the last round and one in the Copa Del Rey will give him the confidence to score here. He will be playing the Copa America over the summer and will hope to take goalscoring form into that.

For our third Juventus v Barcelona prediction I’m going to plump for a correct score. I predicted that Barcelona would win 3-1 at the weekend, but they will find this a slightly stiffer task as Juventus often defend with great gusto. Eventually I think the power of the Barcelona front three will be too much for them. The Old Lady will get on the scoresheet however and I think 2-1 Barcelona will be the best play.
