PSG are blowing their rivals away in the French Ligue 1, they are 24 points clear at the top but were held to a 0-0 draw against Lille on Saturday. Zlatan Ibrahimovic wasn’t in the PSG squad for that fixture so he will be fresh and ready to fire against Chelsea in the Champions League this week.

 

PSG didn’t concede a goal in their home group matches including holding Real Madrid to a 0-0 draw so this won’t be easy for Chelsea to score, never mind win. The odds for PSG to beat Chelsea are 8/11 with Betfred and that is certainly a tempting bet when you consider PSG are unbeaten at home all season, drawing just three times. PSG will know that the key here is not to concede an away goal so for my first betting tip I’m backing on both teams not to score.

It may be an unoriginal bet but I can’t write a PSG v Chelsea betting preview and not mention Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede has scored 21 games in 20 league matches this season and two in the Champions League. Add to that his nine goals in his last eight matches and we have a first goalscorer tip.
