There's a huge game in the Premier League on Boxing Day as high-flying Leicester travel to Merseyside to for second successive week to take on Liverpool. The game gets underway at 3pm and here are our match predictions and betting tips.

Following their remarkable victory away to Manchester City a month ago, Liverpool were being touted from all corners as being genuine top four contenders, with perhaps even a chance of the league title itself. How much things can change in the space of a few games. The Reds have taken one point from their last three matches and now sit closer to the relegation zone than they do the league summit.

Last weekend's loss to the Hornets was as bad a performance as I've seen from Liverpool in a long time. In stark contrast, Leicester City's remarkable season keeps hitting new heights. The Foxes are two points clear at the top of the table, with a nine-point cushion in the Champions League places. They are currently unbeaten in their last ten matches and have won eight of those along the way. It really is the stuff of dreams for Claudio Ranieri's men.
Nevertheless, Leicester do still have some tricky games to negotiate over Christmas if they are to keep this amazing run going. With back to back victories against Chelsea and Everton already in the bag, The Foxes face successive fixtures against Liverpool, Manchester City, in-form Bournemouth and Spurs. If they can take a nice handful of points from these games and keep hold of the likes of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante in the transfer window, the sky is the limit for Leicester City.

This is one of those games where nothing would surprise me. The Reds looked to have kicked on following Klopp's appointment, but almost look as bad now as they were under Rodgers. Leicester are deserved leaders of the Premier League, but do concede a lot of goals and have not beaten Liverpool in their last six encounters. I may get hung out to dry for this, but I fancy Liverpool to finally put the breaks on Leicester's fine run.
