Juventus v Barcelona betting tips and predictions looking at the three reasons we are betting on Barcelona to win the 2015 Champions League final.
Football fans around the world will undoubtedly be waiting patiently this week for the all-important 2015 Champions League final to take place on Saturday.
Juventus v Barcelona Predictions
Regardless of the constant talk of bribery and corruption afflicting FIFA and their internal governing body, despite the frequent diving, play-acting and all round cheating that currently takes place in the modern game, and conveniently putting aside the fact that the gap between the haves and the have nots is only getting bigger within every major league in Europe – intercontinental cup finals just simply have something special about them.
And Barcelona v Juventus certainly won’t prove any different in the 2015 Champions League final this weekend. The Catalan giants go into the match-up as everyone’s preferred favourite, and whilst Juventus will still most likely put up a good fight, this final is seemingly Barcelona’s to lose.
There are however several important pit-falls that Luis Enrique’s side must be aware of as they look to win yet another European cup title in their trophy stacked history…
The Tactics:
If Barca are to prove successful once more on the grandest club stage of all, then a repeat performance of the ones against Bayern Munich in the semi-final could be just what the doctor ordered. Pep Guardiola was simply humbled by his former side, as the Spaniards put their German counter-parts to the sword.
Enrique’s side must simply stick to what they are so notoriously good at. Slick passing all across the pitch, the constant tiki-taka movement between his midfield and the forward line, as well as continued reliability in front of goal, will all serve Barcelona well as they look to take on Juventus this weekend.
It may be what they do off the ball that counts the most however, as through their constant hassling of the opposition and extremely high defensive pressure starting from the strikers all the way down the team, Barca potentially hold the key to winning this one for our Juventus v Barcelona predictions.
The Players:
Obviously the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi will likely have a massive impact on this match, potentially even an influence that turns out to be a match winning one. The diamond trio need only keep up their impressive form and chemistry shown throughout 2014/15 to have a clear chance of beating Juventus.
Both Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic will have to continue pulling the strings from behind the scenes though, as without their somewhat understated role in this current Barca squad, Luis Enrique’s gifted attack force won’t be able to get into the match as well as they’d hoped.
In defence, it will likely be just another day at the office for Javier Mascherano and co. The aggressive Argentinian has made that centre-back spot his own since first arriving at the Nou Camp and the subsequent retirement of Carles Puyol – and alongside his trusted partner Gerard Pique – the Barcelona back-four will likely remain in tip-top shape.
The Manager:
Luis Enrique arrived in Barcelona with a great deal to prove in the dug-out at the beginning of the season. He had hardly won the world over during his stint at Celta Vigo , and with many previously reporting of a bust-up between himself and the somewhat untouchable Lionel Messi earlier on in the campaign, it seemed his future at the Nou Camp had ended almost as soon as it begun.
After leading his side to a successful league and cup double this season however – with the Champions League treble still well and truly on the cards – the initial grumbles over Luis Enrique have all but evaporated and disappeared for now.
Champions League Final 2015 Prediction
The task for Barcelona this Saturday should remain a relatively simple one – stick to what you’re good at and be prepared to play the waiting game, the boys in black & white will eventually tire.
2015 should therefore represent another successful year in Europe for the Catalans if everything goes according to plan.
