After experiencing a seemingly unforgivable loss to Sam Allardyce’s Sunderland outfit last time out in the Premier League, the pressure once again builds for Louis van Gaal and his increasingly unstable position in the Manchester United dug-out.
The 2015/16 campaign has so far proven a rather frustrating affair for the Old Trafford faithful. Although their side could still theoretically qualify for the Champions League this term, such an outcome remains somewhat hard to invisage at this particular stage in the season.
So then, with thoughts of Manchester United’s recent loss at the Stadium of Light locked firmly in mind, is Louis van Gaal now all but finished down at Old Trafford?
Well, whilst the Red Devils could indeed turn around their fortunes somewhat between now and the end of the current campaign, LVG isn’t exactly the most popular manager going about his business right in the here and now…
Somebody. Anybody.
Please sack Van Gaal.

In-fact, even those who previously held admiration for the current Manchester United boss, seemingly find themselves changing their tune in recent weeks…
I can't believe I'm saying it but I actually hate Louis van Gaal ffs.

…and when Robbie Savage decides to have a pop about the standard in which your team is playing, you know the good times must be few and far between…
Roses are red violets are blue ,if I was van gaal , I'd be having a few ??? @bbc606 #BBC606

The stats simply fail to make good reading for Louis van Gaal at the moment, particularly when compared with his ill-fated – and possibly harshly treated – predecessor in the Red Devils dug-out…
After 26 matches:
Moyes in 13/14: 42 points
Van Gaal in 15/16: 41 points— BlueMoonRisingTV (@BMRisingTV) February 13, 2016
Manchester United fans are suddenly starting to view the exploits of David Moyes in a far more favourable light it seems…
Genuinely think Van Gaal has had a worse impact than Moyes. Van Gaal has wasted the best part of £300m.

…especially as this current Red Devils outfit have been far from entertaining throughout the vast majority of the 2015/16 campaign…
LVG talks of philosophy. There already is a MAN UNITED philosophy and that's not it . Can't continue this boring football. #GiggsIn

Some fans have even taken drastic measures regarding van Gaal and his team’s most recent performances of late…
@ManUtd IF YOU DON'T SACK VAN GAAL I WILL DROWN MY DOG. pic.twitter.com/PI1Ngfkxh4

…with those willing to back the enigmatic Dutchman becoming somewhat of a rarity with every passing week…
I genuinely do not know how any sane United fan can still defend Van Gaal. I'm sorry, I really can't. This is beyond pathetic at this stage.

So, with Jose Mourinho reportedly on the verge of stepping in at Old Trafford in the not too distant future…
Mourinho should come in like Donald Trump,'Make Man United great again' .. #MUFC

…Louis van Gaal admittedly has it all to do in successfully winning round the Manchester United supporters before the 2015/16 campaign finally reaches its natural conclusion…
