Our first port of call for the goals galore tip this Sunday is the Dutch Eredivisie where Utrecht take on Heracles at 13:30. My eyes lit up when I saw this match on the bonus list at the weekend as it features the two highest ranked teams in Holland for BTTS results at 73% apiece. The hosts head into the match in great form and are currently unbeaten in their last seven matches, and although they did blank in the BTTS market last weekend, they had seen both teams find the net in their previous four games. Opponents, Heracles also blanked at home to Nijmegen last week in a 2-0 victory but there were certainly due one of those after recording BTTS results in their previous seven matches. In addition to this, the visitors have seen both teams make it onto the scoresheet in every away game bar one this season and registered scores of 1-1 and 4-2 with Utrecht last season. With that being said, I can’t think of a better place to start.
Liverpool v West Ham
The second selection is a Premier League affair as Liverpool host West Ham at 16:30. The Reds head into this clash fresh from blowing a 3-1 lead away to Bournemouth last weekend to end up losing 4-3. Although a lot of credit has to go to The Cherries for staying in the game whilst under intense pressure, Jurgen Klopp’s side totally capitulated at the back and got exactly what they deserved come full-time. Sporting Braga v Pacos de Ferreira
The anchor leg this Sunday comes to us from Portugal as Sporting Braga take on Pacos de Ferreira at 20:15. This match features two of the top three sides in the Primeira Liga BTTS charts at present, and looks like a decent place to finish this weekend. Braga head into the clash fresh from being dumped out of the Europa League on Thursday night after losing 2-4 at home to Shakhtar Donetsk. Domestically, they are incredibly strong on home soil, though, winning five and drawing one on their own patch and averaging just shy of three goals a game. Visitors, Pacos de Ferreira are currently the joint highest ranked side in the Portuguese top flight for BTTS results with an impressive strike-rate of 67%. Although they have blanked in their last two away games, one of these fixtures was at Benfica and they had actually recorded scores of 2-1, 1-4, 5-3 and 1-1 in the previous four matches before that. With all these facts in mind, put this one down as the final selection.
