Rotherham to beat Cardiff

Cardiff now occupy 24th position in the Championship league table and have won just one game this term when benefiting from two own goals to beat fellow strugglers Blackburn 2-1. The Bluebirds have lost their latest four matches and failed to find the net in three of those games while hosts Rotherham have conceded twelve goals in their four previous contests. Although the Millers have lost every game on their travels this season, they are unbeaten on home turf, and could register a second home win this term with both teams scoring.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Nottingham Forest

Both Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest have featured in some high scoring games in recent weeks with Forest also conceding four times without reply when beaten by Arsenal in a midweek cup-tie. Late goals have typified recent games involving the Owls but they have won their previous two matches at Hillsborough via a one clear goal and with the Forest defence breached at least twice during a winless sequence of games during September, a home win is envisaged with both team scoring.  

 

AFC Wimbledon to beat Shrewsbury

AFC Wimbledon are slowly adjusting to life in League One following their promotion last season and they have lost just once in five previous league games when beaten 3-2 by improving Sheffield United, with Dominic Poleon netting in the last three matches. In contrast, Shrewsbury have lost three of their four latest games although each defeat has been incurred via a one goal margin. A narrow home win is forecasted in this game.  

 

Crewe to beat Blackpool

After a slow start to their League Two campaign with just one victory earned from their five opening games, Crewe have won three successive matches scoring twice on each occasion including the 2-1 defeat of second placed Doncaster. Blackpool have won just one of seven previous league games when winning 3-0 at lowly Yeovil and Crewe could maintain their unbeaten sequence at Gresty Road this term by claiming all three points, and recording a third consecutive clean sheet.
