Boxing Day Accumulator Tip

Burnley vs Middlesbrough Betting Tip

Middlesbrough beat a poor Swansea team 3-0 in their previous match but they have not won a game on the road since winning 2-1 at Sunderland back in August, although they have earned draws at Manchester City and Arsenal. ‘Boro now face a Burnley team currently unable to win a Premier League game on their travels but proving to be a decent unit at Turf Moor. The Clarets have netted two or more goals in five home wins in league action this term, and were considered unlucky when suffering single goal margin defeats by both Manchester City and Arsenal. Another Burnley home win is forecasted.

Burnley to beat Middlesbrough – Betfred odds 2/1.

Ipswich vs Fulham Betting Tip

Although Ipswich won 3-2 at Wigan in their previous Championship fixture, manager Mick McCarthy admitted that his team did not deserve to win and the Tractor Boys have claimed victory in just one of four previous matches at Portman Road including the failure to beat lowly Rotherham. Visitors Fulham are unbeaten during December and have scored thirteen goals in four games while their only defeat since the beginning of November was incurred at Brighton when they were unlucky in losing 2-1. The Fulham defence can be generous at times, but they are tipped to beat a fairly average Ipswich team on Boxing Day.

Fulham to beat Ipswich – Betfred odds 11/8.

MK Dons vs Charlton Betting Tip

Off-field problems continue to be a problem for Charlton and they have failed to win any of their latest four League One games including a 3-1 midweek defeat at local rivals Millwall. Recently appointed manager Karl Robinson now travels to his former club MK Dons where he has been replaced by ex-Hearts boss Robbie Nielson who could not prevent his new players from losing 1-0 at Gillingham in just his second match last weekend. Nielson guided the Edinburgh team to third position in the Scottish Premiership last season, and he could claim a second successive home win for the Dons.

MK Dons to beat Charlton – Betfred odds 21/20.

Notts County vs Doncaster Betting Tip

Six successive League Two defeats and four league games played at home without scoring a goal does not offer much encouragement for Notts County ahead of a home fixture with promotion-seeking Doncaster. County also lost a midweek FA Cup tie at Peterborough and now host a visiting team aiming to win a sixth game in seven league outings with their only defeat incurred via a 2-0 scoreline at league leaders Plymouth. An away win is predicted for the accumulator tip.

Doncaster to beat Notts County – Betfred odds 19/20.

Barrow vs Gateshead Betting Tip

Gateshead are winless in six National League games since claiming a 5-0 victory at Dagenham and Redbridge, and avoided a fourth consecutive loss when equalising via a late penalty during a 1-1 draw with lowly Braintree Town last weekend. The Heed now travel to face a Barrow team unbeaten in competitive action since losing 3-1 at Dover back in August. Barrow have not been beaten at Holker Street since mid-February and are predicted to win a fifth successive league game at the venue.

Barrow to beat Gateshead – Betfred odds 21/20.
