Everton vs Bournemouth Betting Tips and Predictions

Betting Tips and Predictions – Draw no bet, first goalscorer, booking

Everton Welcome Bournemouth to Goodison Park on Saturday with kick off scheduled for 15:00 in this Barclays Premier League tie.

Everton are in terrible form and have just been knocked out of the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup whilst Bournemouth have recently hit the “40-point mark” and will face another season in the top flight of English football.

Everton vs Bournemouth Preview

Everton faced a heartbreak knockout result at Wembley at the weekend after conceding a last minute goal to United which means 21 years without a trophy for The Toffees. The fans are planning a protest against manager Roberto Martinez by staying behind after the match at Goodison Park. During half time at Wembley it took Jagielka to reassure Ross Barkley that the boos from the Everton stand were not for the players – the atmosphere, belief and support for the team is at an all-time low at the minute and it is having a negative effect on the players and the results coming from them. The Martinez out club are doing their best to make themselves heard.

Bournemouth hit the safety of the 40-point mark with a win against Villa at the start of the month, but since then suffered two defeats in the league. A 2-1 loss to a weakened Liverpool side was of late however they could of nicked a draw in that game, there was positives to be taken. A Chelsea side looking to finish as high as possible with the end of the league due punished Bournemouth in a 4-1 win at the Vitality Stadium. However, with Everton having the second worst away record only better than Villa and Bournemouth sitting 12th in the away table, they will surely fancy their chances as they have only lost one out of eight away Premier League matches.

Premier League Predictions

Everton have only one win from eight home games in the league, this was against Newcastle who at the time were poor, they have drawn five and lost two which doesn't really tempt me on them for my football betting tips. Bournemouth won their last away game and are generally really good on the road. With Everton’s confidence so low and the fans really against them at the moment this is a perfect opportunity for Eddie Howe to grab three points. A Bournemouth win of 16/5 are nice odds, Everton will be gutted after the weekend’s result so will Martinez be able to get them mentally ready? I am going for a safer option here; my first Everton vs Bournemouth prediction is Bournemouth to win, draw no bet. Draw no bet means if the match is a draw you get your stake refunded.

First Goalscorer Tip

If you watched Everton vs Man United at the weekend, Lukaku had plenty of chances to bag for Everton, whether it be the fans or a lack of confidence but he really did struggle to put them away. It proves the youngster still has a long way to go in developing his consistency but it doesn't mean you can doubt the class he possesses. With 25 goals this season already he has proven he is a goalscorer, however a dry run of six games without a goal which is his longest run without a goal this season should mean he is really hungry to grab one. He has 18 Premier League goals to his name, 10 of them have been the first in the game so with this in mind, my second Everton vs Bournemouth betting tip is a first goalscorer prediction and Lukaku to score first.

LUKAKU TO SCORE FIRST – 4/1 with Coral.

Dan Gosling travels back to his old ground in this fixture and he will certainly have a point to prove despite going down in Everton history for his winning goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup a few years ago. He has started the last three games now so should in contention to start again, with seven yellow cards to his name this season I think that especially facing his old club he may try and leave his mark here. For my third Everton vs Bournemouth prediction I am going for Dan Gosling to be shown a card at 5/1 with Bet Victor.
