Everton vs Arsenal Predictions
Everton are now 12th in the league and come into this game after progressing into the semi-finals of the FA cup with a 2-0 victory over Chelsea thanks to Lukaku, both spirits and confidence must be riding high in the Everton camp right now. The fans are stating the club should be in the top four after having the best squad they have ever seen and one of the best in the league. Admittedly there are some quality players at Everton with a bright future ahead of them, but is Martinez the right man for the job?
Arsenal, once again are bottling the league and as like many I’m guessing they’ll end up in their famous fourth spot. Without a win in three games in the premier league they have threw points away whilst Leicester have continued to storm ahead. 11 points off the top, although this is the game in hand means at best Arsenal will be eight points off the leaders after 30 games have been played.
Everton’s home form has been abysmal this season and they have failed to put two back to back home wins together in the league since November. Having said that they come into this game on the back of two home defeats, the last one a terrible last 10 minutes that let West Ham score three goals to take all three points. Everton can turn up to big games though. Arsenal’s away form is not much better since the 26th December they have only had one away win in the league. They are suffering from a lot of injuries and with Everton’s confidence so high I think they may just nick this game. My first Everton vs Arsenal prediction is for Everton to win and the best odds for a home win are 17/10 with Betfred.

Lukaku as mentioned managed to bag two goals in the FA Cup again and in the league has equalled Jamie Vardy at the top of the Premier League goal scoring record for the season. He has scored in the last four games and now has six goals in six games. He has passed his dry spell in January and really has picked up form again. First goal scorers are always difficult to land and at the odds of 9/2 isn’t quite high enough to tempt me for my anytime goalscorer tip on Everton vs Arsenal. With the mind-set to make you profit I am going to stick to Lukaku anytime at 7/5 with Betfair.
