In their four qualifying matches so far they have scored fifteen goals and thirteen of them have been in the second half. This is a staggering statistic but just shows that possession football with a purpose does pay off and this could be the same at Wembley on Tuesday night.

I don’t expect a thrilling game on Tuesday and that is going to be reflected in my England vs Spain tips. My first tip is going to be for the game to have under 2.5 goals. As this is a friendly match, the team news could be quite unpredictable. One thing is for sure and that is that Harry Kane won’t be involved as he has returned to Tottenham so that he can get back up to match fitness before the weekend. I expect the majority of the England squad to get some minutes and that includes a potential debut for Burnley defender Michael Keane after his impressive start to the season.  I expect Spain to rotate their squad as well and this could mean Manchester United midfielders Juan Mata and Ander Herrera both get a chance to shine as well as Aritz Aduriz who came off the bench to score against Macedonia on Saturday night.
