Burnley are looking to bounce back from a defeat at Chelsea in August. They broke their transfer record for a second time this summer after that loss. Jeff Hendrick joined from Derby, and he should make his first start for his new club on Saturday. The Clarets went straight down last time they were in the top flight; can their summer spending keep them up this time? If they repeat their performance from their last outing at Turf Moor here, then they’ll go a long way. Sean Dyche’s men beat Liverpool 2-0 last month, a result that forced many to sit up and take notice.

Hull City

The Tigers won their first two games, but they came unstuck against Manchester United. They made some moves late in the window, adding bodies to their squad. Overall, there’s not too much extra talent in the squad. Their defence still looks very light, and that has to be a worry for a newly promoted team. While their strong start has surprised many, there’s a reason that Hull started the season as favourites for relegation. There’s just not enough Premier League quality within their squad for survival. They may be flying high right now, but they’re in danger of dropping straight down the table.
