Sheffield United v Shrewsbury – Sheffield united to win BTTS
The opening leg for this weekend’s btts and win tip comes to us from League One as in-form Sheffield United take on Shrewsbury at Bramall Lane. My eyes lit up when I saw this match on the fixture list, and at 5/2, it looks an absolute bargain for this week’s coupon. The hosts are currently in the middle of a stunning run of form that has seen them go the last twelve league matches unbeaten, winning nine of them in the process. In addition to this excellent statistic, The Blades are also scoring a bucket-load of goals at present and have now notched on sixteen occasions over their last five matches. Opponents Shrewsbury head to town off the back of a much needed victory at home to Oxford last weekend. However, this was their first win for over two months and they had only managed to take four points from their previous ten matches. Nevertheless, The Shrews haven’t been short of goals lately and have actually scored in five of their last six away matches. With all that being said, put this one down as the first on the list this weekend.

Doncaster Rovers v Hartlepool – Doncaster to win BTTS
We’re dropping down a division to League Two for our second selection on the football tip as Doncaster take on Hartlepool at the Keepmoat Stadium. Similarly to above, this game looks an absolute gem on the fixture list this week and well worth our consideration for the score and win bet. Donny are rolling along nicely at the moment, and their 1-3 win away to Exeter last weekend was enough to consolidate their position in the third and final automatic promotion spot. Rovers currently have a terrific record at home this year where they have yet to taste defeat, have registered BTTS results in seven of their last eight matches and also scored in every league game so far this season. Opponents Hartlepool aren’t exactly setting the world on fire down in 15th position, however, their BTTS record so far this campaign currently stands at a staggering 81% from all games played. If this wasn’t encouraging enough, though, the visitors have also managed to score in every away match so far this season. Therefore, back Rovers to win this with both teams finding the net.

Morecambe v Luton – Luton to win BTTS
Our final choice for this weekend’s football tip comes from League Two once again as Morecambe host Luton Town. The Shrimps have been a firm favourite of mine in the BTTS market for some time now and always worth a look-in most weekends. Despite starting the season in excellent form, the hosts have really hit the skids in recent weeks and only managed to pick up one win from their last eight matches. In addition to this, their home form has been nothing short of shambolic over the last couple of months and Morecambe have now lost their last six games in a row at the Globe Arena, conceding an eye-watering 18 goals in the process. Luton head to town as heavy favourites and will be looking to make up ground in the promotion race. The Hatters have now gone their last eight games unbeaten in the league and also recorded six BTTS results from all of those matches. Although goals haven’t exactly been at a premium recently, the visitors are rarely short on chances and should be more than capable of putting a Morecambe side to the sword considering their awful home and defensive records. With all this in mind, put this match down as the anchor leg.
