This is Arsenal’s first involvement in the competition since 2005, where a single Cesc Fabregas goal was enough to see off Chelsea, as they ran out 1-0 winners. Manchester City on the other hand have been involved twice in recent years, with both meetings producing the same score line. In 2011 they lost 3-2 to rivals Manchester United, and in 2012 they won 3-2 against Chelsea.
