A recent 2-2 draw against Japan came after they led 2-2 before being pegged back. USA to beat Austria

The USA were held 0-0 against Scotland on Friday but that was their eighth away friendly they had avoided defeat, winning five including against European opposition in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy and Slovenia. Austria have lost their last two home friendlies without scoring a goal and will be down after missing out on a World Cup qualifying play-off place.

Belgium to beat Japan

Belgium were beaten 2-0 by Columbia last week, their first defeat in ten matches and they will look to get back on track ahead of the World Cup when they play Japan. Japan have lost four of their last six away friendlies and were 2-0 down to Netherlands last week before rescuing a draw. Away defeats to Serbia and Belarus before that suggest that Belgium will have enough to win here.
