Accumulator Betting Tip:

Croatia to beat Iceland 1/3:

Starting with the World Cup qualifiers and Croatia. These two played out a 0-0 in the first leg and Croatia will hope home advantage can take them to Brazil. Recent defeats to Belgium and Scotland at home lead to their manager being sacked but before then they were in great form at home beating Serbia, Wales and Macedonia. Iceland have won just two of their last sixteen matches away from home and with Croatia having more experience at this level, you have to fancy them to take a victory here.

France to beat Ukraine 2/5:

France find themselves in a bit of a mess after the first leg and are 2-0 down. However, at home in qualifying they won three of four with only Spain managing to beat them. They lost just once overall in qualifying and will really have to go for it here to get back the two goal deficit. Ukraine are half decent away, not losing in qualifying but against a strong France side I expect them to succumb to defeat and who goes through will be a close run thing.

Belgium to beat Japan: 4/6:

This friendly will be interesting with Belgium losing at home to Colombia recently and Japan getting a good draw with Holland. That was Belgium’s first defeat in ten matches and their first in seventeen at home. They haven’t lost consecutive home games since 2007 and will really want to bounce back against a weaker Japan side. Japan are without a win in their last three matches and have won just one of their last six away from home. Belgium have the better team and I expect them to prevail here.

Carlisle to beat Boreham Wood 2/5:

Out first FA Cup selection is Carlisle who take on Boreham Wood of the Conference South. Carlisle have struggled a bit in League One but have now lost just one of their last five at home. Boreham Wood are down near the bottom of the Conference South and have won just two of their last eleven in the League. They have won just one of their last six on the road in the league and against higher caliber opposition may struggle.

Newport County to beat Braintree 7/10:

League 2 Newport take on Conference side Braintree in our next selection.  Newport have lost just one of their last seven on in all competitions and are currently in a play-off spot. They have also won their last five at home in all competitions and have lost there just once in the league this season. Boreham Wood have won just one of their last five in all competitions and just one of their last six in the league. With Newport the league above and with such good home form, they should pick up a comfortable win.

Wolves to beat Oldham 4/6:

Finally in the FA Cup Wolves against Oldham. Wolves are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions. Wolves have won seven of ten at Molyneux this season and beat Oldham 2-0 there a few weeks ago. Oldham are struggling down in 18th in League One. Oldham have very poor away form with just one victory in their last seven in all competitions on the road. Wolves won’t have the FA Cup as their priority but the side top of League One should have too much for Oldham.
