After setting the global stage alight with Colombia at the 2014 World Cup several summers ago, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez was largely expected to continue his fine run of form down at the Santiago Bernabeu, with several screaming fans shouting his name on a week-to-week basis.
Since making the switch to those formidable La Liga giants however, the highly coveted Colombian international has seen himself develop into something of a stop-start phenomenon whilst operating at Real Madrid. A move away from the Spanish capital therefore looks rather possible with the January transfer window waiting patiently on the horizon.
Whilst Real Madrid are reportedly keen on holding onto the South American star this January…
Real Madrid do not want to sell James Rodriguez in January. They know there are clubs who want him but no offers have been received AS YET

…several Premier League clubs are supposedly in the hunt for some added fire-power…
Lots asking about James Rodriguez – Chelsea are his No 1 choice, he's been offered to PL clubs. But not sure real interest from CFC is there

Although Antonio Conte’s Blues are already flying high among the English top-flight…
It'll be difficult to top Chelsea this season. In form & enjoying their football. Be interesting to see their reaction to going behind tho

…the Colombian international would certainly receive a warm welcome down at Stamford Bridge…
A very important fact about James Rodriguez — he's left footed. Something we've lacked in our RW for years now.

…especially as James Rodriguez is one of the biggest names in world football right about now…
Just heard that if Chelsea sign James Rodriguez for 75mil pounds they will recoup that fee in shirts sales in South America in 7 days.

If the growing list of rumours is true, James could already be on his way to Chelsea as we speak…
James Rodriguez getting an English visa. Seems like he's off to Chelsea, what a signing he will be for them.

…and whilst some Premier League onlookers would somehow turn their back on the Colombian international this January…
Imagine not wanting James Rodriguez. A lot of Chelsea fans will look like idiots if he joins, will take our team to another level

…most Chelsea fans remain truly excited by the mere prospect of welcoming James Rodriguez at their club this season…
