Arsenal to draw with Paris Saint-Germain

 PSG won their first two French Ligue 1 games of the season but then lost 3-1 at Monaco before sharing the points in a 1-1 draw with St Etienne at the weekend. The departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the summer may have weakened the attacking options of the Paris team although it should be noted that PSG have not lost Champions League group game at Parc des Princes in the previous four seasons. Arsenal have recovered from a slow start to the campaign by winning their latest two domestic games although a late penalty was needed to secure a 2-1 home win against Southampton on Saturday and complete our winning 43/1 accumulator tip at the weekend. The Gunners have been inconsistent in previous group stages but could earn a draw in Paris.   

 

PSV Eindhoven to draw with Atletico Madrid

Although Atletico Madrid beat La Liga basement team Celta de Vigo 4-0 at the weekend, they drew both opening domestic league fixtures against newly promoted teams and they will now face a PSV Eindhoven team which won all three Champions League group games on home soil last term. The Dutch team are also unbeaten in five Eredivisie matches this season with four victories earned, and they could earn a draw against their Spanish visitors.

 

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Bristol City    

Sheffield Wednesday earned just one point from three Championship matches after beating Aston Villa 1-0 on the opening day but then claimed a deserved draw at Brentford. A sign of a further improvement in form appeared on Saturday when the Owls beat Wigan 2-1 at Hillsborough, and they now face a Bristol City team which has yet to register a clean sheet in league action this season and should have beaten lowly Rotherham at the weekend when drawing 2-2. A narrow home win is forecasted for our football accumulator.

Derby to draw with Ipswich  

Derby have yet to score a league goals at the iPro Stadium this term and were comfortably beaten 2-0 at the venue by Newcastle on Saturday. The Rams will host an Ipswich team which has netted just once on the road this season when converting a penalty during a 2-1 Friday evening defeat at Reading. With both teams struggling for goals, a low-scoring draw is forecasted.  

 

Sutton United to beat Braintree

Sutton United have been the dominant team in both latest National League contests but have lost 1-0 at Gateshead and Wrexham although they have won their three previous home matches. They will now host a Braintree team which has lost three of their four previous matches including a 4-1 home defeat by Gateshead on Saturday, and they failed to beat bottom club Guiseley. With previously successful manager Danny Cowley leaving the club in May to join Lincoln, Braintree have earned just one league victory this term and are tipped for another defeat at Sutton.
