West Ham vs Bournemouth predictions and Premier League betting tips for the second Super Sunday match with two bets advised from our tipster.
West Ham entertain Bournemouth in their first Premier League match at the Olympic stadium and both sides will be looking to get their first points of the season after tough opening day encounters. Here are some predictions for the Super Sunday game.
West Ham
The hammers will be coming into this game of the back of a 1-1 draw against Romanian side Astra Giurgiu and they will be hoping that they don’t suffer a Europa League hangover of the back of that game. This will be their third game in seven days and I worry that this could affect their performance on Sunday. Slaven Bilic’s men were a few minutes away from earning a very good point at Stamford Bridge last Monday before Diego Costa popped up with a late winner. I was disappointed with how West Ham were in the attacking areas but this probably has something to do with Payet not starting and club record signing Andre Ayew being forced off with an injury in the first half. It’s reported that Ayew will be out for around four months, so I think they will be in for another striker before the end of the transfer window.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth only really started playing when the game was over last week and Manchester United were 3-0 up, but in the last twenty minutes they played really well and created a lot of chances. Eddie Howe has tried to strengthen his defence this week by signing Marc Wilson from Stoke for around £2m. This is a good signing for the cherries as he has a wealth of Premier League experience and will be able to help as they try and keep it tight at the back. The match between these two last season at Upton Park was a thriller as Bournemouth won 4-3 thanks to a Callum Wilson hat-trick and he will be hoping to get off the mark this season at the home of West Ham again. He suffered an unfortunate injury last season that kept him out for most of the year and with a full pre-season under his belt, he is looking to be the talisman for Howe’s men this year. He found it tough last week against United’s new look back four, but I think that he will have more joy against this defence on Sunday.
West Ham vs Bournemouth Predictions
I have mentioned Callum Wilson already and my first West Ham vs Bournemouth betting tip is going to be for him to score first. I think that with West Ham being potentially tired after three games in seven days, Bournemouth will be able to take advantage and score first and if they do Wilson is the most likely person to do that. Odds for him to score first are a staggering 12/1 at SportingBet. Wilson’s odds to score first are as short as 11/2 with one bookies and 7/1 with a few.

Matches between these two sides are often entertaining as shown by the 3-4 and 1-3 scorelines last season so my second West Ham v Bournemouth tip of the game is going to be both teams to score and over 2.5 goals which is 11/10 at Bet365.
Over 2.5 goals and BTTS – 11/10 with Bet365: BET HERE.

My third and final Premier League prediction for this weekend is going to be for a goal to be scored after the 76th minute. There has been late drama in both of the games involving West Ham this week and with a goal being scored in 84th and 82nd minute in the games between these two last season I can see another late goal here. Odds for this can be found at William Hill at 10/11.
