Stoke v West Ham United betting tips and predictions for the final match-day of the season, Brittania Stadium on Sunday 15th May, Kick off 3pm.
It’s been a disappointing end to what was an overall positive campaign for Stoke City. Mark Hughes will be disappointed his side have donned their flip flops in April and pretty much given up on hope of beating their best ever Premier League finish. They’re 19th in the form table, only propped up by the woeful Aston Villa and they’ve conceded 17 goals in their last six matches. They’ve conceded more goals at home than they’ve scored, and they are one of the lowest scorers in the division.
I can’t pick one Stoke player who has shone in the last couple of months, and Mark Hughes must be tearing his greys out.
West Ham United on the other hand have had an incredible season. Many people had them down as struggling this season but they find themselves with a very good chance of sealing European football for next season at the Olympic Stadium. After an emotional farewell to their home of 112 years at the Boleyn Ground, it would be easy to forget that they produced an excellent come back against Champions League chasing Manchester United. When they went 2-1 down it would have been easy to have rolled over but their team spirit and hard work paid off, as they thoroughly deserved the three points.
West Ham United have only lost seven games all season, three less than both Manchester clubs, however they have drawn just a few too many to have been in the Champions League chase.
Stoke vs West Ham Predictions
My first Premier League betting tip for Stoke vs West Ham United is West Ham to win. Momentum is a big thing in football and these two teams couldn’t be at further ends of the scale. Apart from the blip against Swansea, West Ham are in a good vein of form, and Stoke are playing like a team who just want to hurry up and get to the airport, or on the plane to Euro 2016 for some of them. West Ham have the added incentive of chasing European football, so William Hill offering 6/5 for the away win tempts me.

My second Stoke vs West Ham prediction for the match is going to be Dimitri Payet to be named Man of the Match. This is a market that when I seen it, piqued my interest. He’s already been named West Ham’s player of the season, and has taken the Premier League by storm with his performances. He’s coming into this match off the back of two assists against Manchester United and many thought he had a quiet game! He’ll want to end the season in style and keep the form going into Euro 2016 – could France win the tournament? He’s 8/1 with Bet Victor to be named Man of the Match.

My final Premier League prediction for Stoke v West Ham United is for Marko Arnautovic to score anytime. He’s in a similar position to Payet in that he will want to be in some decent form going into the European Championships with Austria, and it’s the last home game of the season so ending it with a goal infront of the home support would be a good way to cap a good season for Arnautovic. He’s 11/5 with Ladbrokes to score anytime.
