Although Eder Citadin Martins (more commonly known simply as 'Eder' throughout the Italian Serie A) originally derives from the notorious footballing powerhouse that is Brazil, this 29-year-old Internazionale striker will nonetheless be looking to impress among the upcoming Euro 2016 proceedings with Italy, especially after successfully registering 14 goals in all competitions this term.
The former Empoli and Sampdoria man has partially excelled of late via his tricky nature inside the final third, dangerously quick feet in and around the opposition’s penalty box, and almost unmatched striking composure in one-on-one situations.
Whilst the likes of Simone Zaza, Graziano Pelle, and perhaps even former Manchester City and Liverpool man Mario Balotelli, could potentially look to stake their claim at Euro 2016 ahead of the Brazilian-born Eder – this is one player who Antonio Conte must nonetheless offer his due consideration towards once the highly anticipated international tournament is finally upon us…
Still in the early stages, but I really like what Eder has brought to the team. Top player and exciting to watch.

Napoli’s outstanding striking sensation that is Gonzalo Higuain has obviously taken most of the goal-scoring plaudits among Serie A this term for his undoubted excellence in front of goal, but as Eder has also solidified himself among the Italian top-flight as an often exciting asset within his respective striking department, Euro 2016 could seemingly serve to propel the career of Inter Milan’s 29-year-old front-man at the first time of asking.
He may theoretically find himself approaching the latter stages of his career right in the here and now of course, but as this arguable late-bloomer nonetheless seems to be enjoying some promising form among the Italian top-flight this season, perhaps Eder could possibly help Italy claim that all important top-spot among the upcoming Euro 2016 knock-out stages this summer.
Although the current Serie A hitman may have admittedly hit somewhat of a stumbling block with Inter Milan in recent outings, there is absolutely no reason to suggest that Eder doesn't have what it takes to rediscover his very best form with Antonio Conte's Italy at Euro 2016…
