Valencia travel to the Nou Camp on Sunday evening with kick off scheduled for 19:30 in the La Liga Primera devision and we’ve got three Barcelona vs Valencia betting tips.
Valencia haven’t fared too well since Gary Neville was sacked and they will try to take on the leagues leaders Barcelona, the bookies bang on bankers who have hit a real bad batch.
Barcelona vs Valencia Predictions
Barcelona are still top of the league however with losing El Clasico recently they are now only three points in front of Real Madrid and four in front of Atletico Madrid who now feel they will be able to chase the top spot. Barcelona have just been knocked out the Champions League by Atletico and suffered a shock loss away to Real Sociedad. This is by far the worst run of form they have experienced in a long time. MSN have really hit a bad patch, which has definitely contributed to the bad results of late. Between them only two goals have been scored in the last four club games across all competitions and they were both by Suarez in the same game.
Valencia are not where they would want to be and sit 14th at the moment, however a four-point swing could lift them as high as 8th depending on goal difference. Gary Neville has been gone for a while now and there hasn't been much of a turnaround in terms of results. They do come into this game on a high, they took all three points of Sevilla, however not too surprising considering there shocking away record this year. Away from home they have lost their last three on the run so travelling to the Nou Camp may prove a little difficult this time.
There is no doubt about it, the quality of the strike force that Barcelona possess, although they might be going through a small bad patch they will definitely turn it back on sooner rather than later. After such a disappointing couple of weeks they will now be focusing on the league, ensuring they do not let any more games slip, and more importantly that top place. MSN will be pivotal in that and will need to be finding the target if they are going to take all three points. I believe that between them they will find the goal again and nick a few. Suarez was the most active in my opinion against Atletico and should have taken one of his chances. I don't think it’ll take him too long here. For my first Barcelona vs Valencia prediction I am going for Luis Suarez to score first at 3/1 with bet365.
Barcelona have won many of their home games by a heavy score line, they like to take teams out and punish them. They have scored six goals in three of six home games in the league, they have to bounce back after the last couple of weeks and sticking goals away is one way to send a message to the world that they are back and over the rough patch. Valencia have conceded at least one goal in their last seven away games so it seems it’s not a matter of will Barcelona score but how many. For my second Barcelona vs Valencia prediction I am going for Barcelona to win and over 3.5 goals at 4/5 with Betfred.

For my final betting tip on tonight’s La Liga match I will be using Sky Bet, they offer a very wide range of special bets and they often come in. If you followed my Liverpool vs Borussia Dortmund tips you would landed a boosted bet of Coutinho to score from outside the box at 12/1. Sadly, with Barcelona there is never such good value. However, I think Barcelona will go for the throats of Valencia here and won’t have a problem sticking away a few goals in the first half, firstly to calm nerves and secondly to show that the badge patch is well over. For my third Barcelona vs Valencia betting tip I am going for Barcelona to score 2+ in the first half at 6/5 with Sky Bet.
