Celtic v Hearts – Celtic to win BTTS
Our opening selection for our BTTS and win tip this Saturday comes from the 12:30 KO in Scottish Premiership as league leaders Celtic face a tricky home tie against Hearts. The Bhoys have had a decent couple of weeks in Scotland's top flight after winning their last two matches on the bounce and seeing their main rivals Aberdeen drop points in back to back games as well. Ronny Deila's men now have a four-point cushion and a game in hand over The Dons, and could take a giant step towards winning yet another league title with a win this weekend. Opponents Hearts are after the points for an entirely different reason as they look to nail down third spot in the league and secure European football next season. They head into the clash in decent form after winning four of their last five matches, but did crumble to a 3-0 defeat at home to St Johnstone last time out. From our bet's perspective, Celtic have an exceptional record for BTTS wins this season and have won no fewer than eleven of their victories this year have come via this margin. Although Hearts' BTTS record isn't very encouraging, the last two results between the two sides in league and cup have finished 2-2 and 2-1 so I fancy Celtic to win this one by a similar result.
Aston Villa v Chelsea – Chelsea to win BTTS
Our second choice on the football tip this weekend is a 12:45 kick off in the Premier League as hopeless, and now managerless Aston Villa welcome Chelsea to the Midlands. It's safe to say both these sides have had seasons to forget, unfortunately for the hosts, though, they will have to rebuild from a division below next year. The warning signs were there for some time, but Villa finally capitulated this campaign and the whole club just looks a total shambles now. To compound matters, Remi Garde left his post this this week and The Villians now head into this weekend's clash without a manager. It never rains, but it pours. Although they performed admirably in the Champions League, the best they can hope for now is an extremely outside chance of securing a Europa League spot. Nevertheless, under interim boss Gus Hiddink, The Blues have performed well in the Premier League and are now fourteen matches unbeaten since the Dutchman took over and have won four of their last five matches away from home. In addition to this, Chelsea have recorded BTTS results in their last six straight games and also have the highest ratio in the league for BTTS at 63%. With these facts in mind, I fancy them to beat Villa via this outcome on Saturday lunchtime.
Bristol Rovers v Crawley – Rovers to win BTTS
The anchor leg for Saturday’s football betting tip this weekend comes from League Two as in-form Bristol Rovers take on Crawley at home. The hosts do head into the match off the back of a disappointing away defeat at Carlisle this week, but have still won the six straight games before that loss.
