Everton v Arsenal

After being dumped out of the Champions League on Wednesday to an imperious Barcelona side, as well as missing out on an FA Cup Semi-Final after their shock defeat to Watford last weekend, Arsenal travel to a free-scoring Everton knowing that the Premier League title is their only hope for silverware this season. Everton are the Premier League’s third highest scorers behind Man City and joint top-scorers Spurs and Leicester. The Toffees have produced 51 goals from their 28 matches, but they have also conceded 39 this season. The Merseysiders’ last two League games have produced 9 goals in total, with both teams scoring in each. Arsenal have played out 4 straight BTTS winners in the League, gaining just four points from a possible 12, and this lack of defensive resolve looks like costing them the title – once again. However, when The Posh turn up on Saturday, I'm expecting a defensively-shambolic clash between two sides extremely lacking in defensive resilience.
