And following a poor display at home to Swansea last weekend, they will be keen to get back to winning ways, in a game the manager Roberto Martinez arguably can’t afford to lose. The home side find themselves 11th in League Two, highlighting the gap between the two sides. They’ve managed just one win in their last five, but still remain in the hunt for a play-off spot; just three points off the pace. And although they will be gunning for a famous cup upset to make into Round Five, Everton’s Premier League class should tell on the day to make it through.

 

MK Dons v Chelsea Tip

Chelsea are another Premier League side who travel to lower league opposition this weekend when they visit Championship side MK Dons. Arguably their only real shot at winning a trophy this season; the Blues will be buoyed from their impressive win at Arsenal, and will be looking to extend their unbeaten record since the arrival of Gus Hiddink. MK Dons find themselves perilously close to the Championship relegation zone, just two points clear of safety as they continue to struggle this season. They've managed just one win in their last five and already suffered 16 defeats so far. Their home has been slightly better, where they've managed three wins from their last five. However, given the gap in class between the two sides, it looks worth backing the reigning Premier League champions for our accumulator tip.

They managed a creditable 3-3 draw with Roma recently, however will need to be even better if they are to take anything from the reigning champions.

 

St Etienne v PSG Tip

PSG travel to St Etienne on Sunday looking to maintain their remarkable league record, which has seen them open up an astonishing 21-point lead in the race for the Ligue 1 title. The Parisians have won an incredible 19 matches, dropping just six points having drawn three times. They remain undefeated, with nine wins from their last 10, scoring 30 and conceding just four in that period. And while a trip to St Etienne could prove tricky, they are clearly a class above anyone else in the division and will be confident of gaining another victory here. The hosts find themselves in sixth position as they battle for the European places, but have already been defeated nine times from 22 matches. A decent home record has seen them win 7 of 11, losing just twice. But their league form has dipped somewhat of late; with just three wins and five defeats from their last 10, and they will need to improve their performance here if they are to have any chance of upsetting the league leaders.
