Everton v Crystal Palace Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview

Everton v Crystal Palace predictions and betting tips for tonight’s Monday Night Football fixture in the Premier League.

'Monday Night Football' this week sees Everton hosting Crystal Palace at Goodison Park. Tune in at the usual time of 8pm and here are our match predictions and football betting tips.

Everton v Crystal Palace Predictions

The Toffees have hit a decent run of form in the last few matches and are currently unbeaten in their last five games in a row in all competitions. Although, they will be slightly aggrieved at the manner in which they let a two goal lead against Bournemouth last weekend, the 2-0 away win at Middlesbrough in the League Cup quarter-finals this week was far more comfortable than it looked on paper.

Perhaps the most encouraging aspect for Roberto Martinez, though, has to be his side's purple patch in front of goal. Everton have now scored sixteen goals in their last five matches, with star striker Romelu Lukaku notching six times during this period.

Opponents Crystal Palace's form is indifferent of late, but with an abundance of pace in attack, they still remain a dangerous opposition away from home and currently sit two places above their hosts in the Premier League table.

Last time out, Alan Pardew's men saw off a poor Newcastle side 5-1 at Selhurst Park. Granted the match is as easy as they come at the moment, Palace showed great resilience once again to come from behind and take all three points. This was something that became synonymous under Pardew last season along with an excellent away record.

Everton v Crystal Palace betting tips

This is quite a difficult match to call as Everton are certainly the form team at the moment, but Palace's penchant for points on the road certainly makes them an unpredictable team to bet against.

Nevertheless, for my first Everton v Crystal Palace prediction I fancy Everton to edge and entertaining match, so back them at a decent outright price of 11/10 with Betfred, or get the 7/1 at Coral and 6/1 at Paddy Power for new customers.

Moving over to the goalscoring market and we cannot look past Romelu Lukaku at the moment. The Belgian international is in electric form and his confidence looks sky-high, back him to score the first of the match at 4/1 with Ladbrokes which is my second Everton v Crystal Palace prediction for tonight. As always, should he do so in the opening 25 minutes, Laddies will double your odds to 8/1.

Need a Ladbrokes account? Get one here and claim a £50 free bet as well as double odds if your first scorer bet scores in the first 25 minutes this season.

Finally, for a punt in the man of the match market and Gerard Deulofeu appears to have ousted the likes of Kevin Mirallas and Aiden McGeady to nail down a starting berth. The young Spaniard has scored a couple of goals in some excellent performances of late and looks decent value to pick up the man of the match award at 10/1 with Bet Victor.

My final Everton v Crystal Palace betting tip tonight is Gerard Deulofeu to be man of the match, the best odds for this are 10/1 with Bet Victor.
