Why Liverpool WILL one day win the league under Jurgen Klopp…

Whilst Liverpool haven’t exactly improved dramatically since Brendan Rodgers’ widely expected departure from the Anfield dug-out this season, the Reds have nonetheless shown signs of renewed promise with Jurgen Klopp finally at the helm.

All the players seem to be working on the same wavelength all of a sudden, the Liverpool back-line has stopped leaking goals at their previously considerable rate as of late – and although the results have certainly proven slow thus far – Reds fans seem to have rediscovered their collective voice back among the English top-flight again.

So then, although the 48-year-old former Borussia Dortmund boss has only just begun his new journey within the Premier League, will Liverpool finally restore some glory back on Merseyside with Jurgen Klopp in charge?

It may seem a tad premature to start singing the praises of the enigmatic German manager already in 2015/16 – and certain Liverpool supporters have most definitely lost a sense of realism when talking of this brand new era at their club – but even the most pessimistic football fan out there must nonetheless recognise the potential on offer from Klopp.

This is a man who helped transform BVB into formidable Bundesliga entertainers and Champions League finalists, after spending less on player transfer fees than Queens Park Rangers somehow managed to muster up when they got relegated from the Premier League in that same very season. Put in no uncertain terms whatsoever, Liverpool have been crying out for a manger like this for quite some time in all honesty. He definitely seems the right fit worthy of waking this undoubted sleeping giant.

After allowing the likes of Roy Hodgson, Kenny Dalglish and Brendan Rodgers to carelessly waste millions of pounds in each respective transfer window experienced on Merseyside, the current Reds squad has simply been left in a state of disjointed disarray. However, because Jurgen Klopp is a coach renown for getting the very best out of most high profile players especially, all is not lost at Anfield.

Liverpool also play host to a series of impressive youngsters in 2015/16, which bodes well for Klopp’s newly established spell in charge of the club. Now that the Reds have seemingly struck upon a decent manager for once – someone who has an impressive record of delivering the results, whilst also maintaining a passionate relationship with his club’s loyal fan-base – everything is seemingly in place for a new legacy to be built at Liverpool.

It won’t be achieved overnight however, for several first team regulars among the club’s current ranks ultimately aren’t quite operating at the level required to break the top-four and eventually win the league. If Klopp is allowed to spend as much as Brendan Rodgers was during his time at Anfield though – such a problem can easily be addressed with the right decision making over time.

As things currently stand, the Anfield faithful already play host to the likes of Coutinho, Christian Benteke, and Daniel Sturridge should he ever declare himself fully fit back among the Premier League. That particular front-three has goals written all over it – and although no Liverpool player has truly hit full throttle this term – the potential is certainly there. If Klopp can continue to keep things tight from a desfensive perspective this season, who knows how far this particular squad can develop a few years down the line.

The rest of the Reds starting XI may admittedly fail to include the same level of quality in the cold light of day, and things have arguably been growing progressively worse for the Reds ever since the turn of the Premier League era, yet as all the right components are now in position for the team to one day return some glory in and around the club – Liverpool WILL eventually win the league with Jurgen Klopp working his magic behind the scenes, it just won't likely happen in 2015/16.

This is an outfit still capable of dominating the English game one day after all – for the presitge, pedigree and wealth of resources are all still in place as they should be. As long as that remains the case for the Reds, the Anfield faithful simply have every reason to remain optimistic in the modern era…
