Scotland’s hopes of reaching the Euros look to be all but over after their brave 2-3 defeat to World Champions Germany in last month’s round of qualifying. However, with a faint glimmer of hope still lingering, the Scots will not give up without a fight. Sure, they must rely on other results going their way, but with the Republic facing both Germany and Poland in their final two matches, a third place play-off spot still looks up for grabs despite the four-point gap to the Irish. With Polish striker Robert Lewandowski in such remarkable form, the Scots are sure to concede. However, given the fight that they showed against the Germans, Gordon Strachan’s men will never go down without a good hard scrap. Poland managed to concede at home to Gibraltar and I’m certain that the Scots will also grab at least one against the Poles. This one is a shoe in for our both teams to score betting tip.

 

Republic of Ireland v Germany – BTTS Yes.

If Scotland manage to pull off a win against the Poles, this will leave second place wide open for the Republic, if they can manage a monumental win against The Germans. Joachim Low’s side conceded two to Scotland and a single goal to Poland in their last two qualifiers and their defence has been saved by their prolific attack on more than one occasion. Martin O’Neill’s men managed a brilliant 1-1 draw in Germany and I can see them grabbing the same sort of result this time around too. Let’s be fair, the German’s are going to score. But with the Republic at home and with a fierce home support giving them a boost, O’Neill’s boys will surely get on the score sheet too. I think this game will be extremely entertaining.
