It is only the second week into the Serie A season and as a result you can’t look into the results too much from last week. Sampdoria however, were more than impressive in their 5-2 win against new-boys Carpi and they have shown they can mix it up near the top of the table again this season. Napoli seem to have picked up where they left off even though Benitez has gone. They led 1-0 against Sassuolo last week, only to end up losing 2-1. Hopefully, both these teams continue their 100% BTTS records in this one.

 

Valencia vs Deportivo La Coruna – NO

Both these sides drew 0-0 in their respective games on the opening weekend of La Liga. Valencia away to Rayo Vallecano and Deportivo at home to Real Sociedad. Valencia will be in high spirits after making it into the Champions League group stages and are normally defensively sound at home. Deportivo didn’t score many away goals last season and it could be the same here on Sunday.

 

Udinese vs Palermo – NO

These two sides both managed 1-0 victories last weekend, although Udineses’s win away at Juventus has to be the more impressive of the two. They defended resolutely against the Old Lady and they look to have added some steele amongst their ranks. Palermo also defended well against Genoa who do pose a threat oing forwards, so I expect both defences to come out on top in this one.
