Watford have a tendency to keep things tight at home, but away from Vicarage Road, they are almost always involved in high scoring affairs. They have scored in their last 10 away games, and they will be odds on to score against Preston. However, after four games already played in the Championship, Simon Grayson’s side are becoming accustomed to punching above their weight and see themselves in 12th place with one defeat, two draws and a win already this campaign. I feel that we will see a shock result and a high scoring affair for my next football tip.

 

Sunderland v Exeter

I think Sunderland will score, but Exeter are on form and will be confident of providing their travelling supporters with a night to remember on Wearside.

 

MK Dons v Cardiff

MK Dons have kicked off their first ever Championship campaign in style and currently sit in fourth position in the league. Cardiff are hot on their heels in seventh and both teams look relatively evenly matched going into their League Cup clash on Tuesday. MK have been keeping things tight so far in the League, but I feel the shackles will be loosened for a tie which has little consequence for them as a club. Cardiff’s last eight league games have all finished with both teams scoring, and I would be majorly surprised if both teams don’t score in a League Cup tie where neither team is worried about the prospect of being knocked out of. Attack will be both team’s primary focus and I see this one being an absolute stonker.
