The Welsh side are traditionally strong at home and with Ayew already seemingly finding his feet they can kick off their first home match with a win.

 

Wolfsburg to beat Frankfurt

On Sunday Wolfsburg, who had the best home record last season, entertain Frankfurt, who had the worst away team last season. Whilst there are stories regarding De Bruyne and his possible exit, Die Wölfe have strengthened their squad with the acquisition of German forward Max Kruse and no sales have yet been made. They should fancy their chances of an opening day win against a Frankfurt side that took just 11 points away from home in the 2014/15 season.

 

Liverpool to beat Bournemouth

Our final pick play on Monday and we go for Liverpool who play Bournemouth. The Reds ‘should’ have too much class for The Cherries who lost their opening fixture against Villa. This looks an ideal opportunity for Benteke to open his Liverpool account and they should win by a couple, which will mean that they’ll get all giddy again and think, like the last 25 years since they last won the league title, that it’s ‘their year’.
