Football Accumulator Tips this Weekend:
Manchester City to beat Swansea – 3/4
Both teams come into this one in fine form following impressive victories last time out. Manchester City romped to a 6-0 home win over QPR, and will be looking to maintain second place with a fifth-straight win, having kept three clean sheets in the last four. Victory over Spurs in their last away game saw them end a poor sequence of defeats on the road, and they are taking to continue their decent end to the season with a win at Swansea.
The Swans are set for their highest Premier League finish having already achieved their record points haul, and could still finish in the top six. Three wins on the bounce means has them in eighth with two games left, and they will surely be full of confidence after an unlikely win over Arsenal on Monday.
However in Sergio Aguero, Man City may just have the edge, and after his three goals last weekend; he is in the type of form that can help his side come out on top in this one.
Manchester United to beat Arsenal – 6/4
With their place in next season’s Champions League all but secure, Manchester United will have their sights set on third place and know a win against Arsenal is imperative if they are to achieve it. Last weekend’s victory over Crystal Palace saw them end their three-match losing streak, and they will be going all out to add another home win to their impressive Old Trafford record, having won 14 of 18 this term.
Arsenal’s home defeat to Swansea on Monday was their first defeat in 10, and has damaged their hopes of a top-two finish although they do have a game in hand over Manchester City. They have been in great form, but having failed to score in two of their last three matches is a worry, and they could just be about to run of steam after seeing their brief hopes of a title challenge fade.
Having got the better of Arsenal at the Emirates in the reverse fixture, it could be worth taking a chance on United once again, and although it looks a tough one to call; the hosts are the selection to nick the three points.
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona to draw – 5/2
Barcelona are within touching distance of another La Liga title, but despite their four-point lead over Real Madrid heading into their final two games, they must overcome a tricky trip to Atletico this weekend.
The visitors are flying and after securing their passage to the Champions League, know a win here will cap a memorable week. Barca have the best away record in the league with 13 wins from 18, and unbeaten in their last five, will head into this one full of confidence.
Atletico can relax safe in the knowledge that they have secured a return to the Champions League, however will be eager to maintain third spot from the chasing Valencia. Their home form has been superb with just one defeat all season, and unbeaten in their last 10 La Liga fixtures mean it will be a tough test for Barcelona.
With both sides in great form, the pair of them would arguably be happy with a point, and on a day where there could be little to separate the two teams, a draw looks to be a cracking bet and is a risk that is certainly worth taking.
Valencia to beat Celta Vigo – 8/13
Valencia know victory over Celta Vigo this weekend could all but guarantee their place in next season’s Champions League given their three-point advantage over Sevilla also includes a vastly superior goal difference. The hosts will be full of confidence having picked up an impressive point against Real Madrid last weekend, and given their impressive home form they look a great bet to get the win.
15 wins and just one defeat from their 18 home games mean Valencia are deservedly favourites to overcome a Celta Vigo side with nothing but pride to play for in their final two games. The hosts are unbeaten in their last four away games and find themselves in tenth position in the table, but having won just five times on the road this season, it’s hard to see them picking up anything this weekend given what’s at stake for Valencia.
