This weekend’s football accumulator betting tips for an Asian Handicap accumulator coupon at odds of over 8/1 with Bet365.
There’s a song United fans sing that goes “City, Manchester City, nobody knows their name…” Well they do in chez vio as their name is now mud in our house after failing to beat Hull City last weekend costing us a winning accumulator tip.
We are a major league down this week as the FA Cup takes centre stage in England so we’ve cast our net further afield but still working within the same parameters last week as the Asian Handicap worked well, city aside.
Weekend Accumulator Tips:
Bayern to beat Hamburg (-1 Asian Handicap).
Bayern – Hamburger is our first match and the hosts are our pick. They got back to winning ways last weekend and host a Hamburger side that have a poor away record this season and a terrible record away to Bayern. They have won just twice from 10 away fixtures and average one goal every two games on the road. The last five games in Munich have seen the home side win 3-1, 9-2, 5-0, 6-0 and 1-0. With that in mind, and the obvious gulf in class between the two, we go Bayern -1 on the AHCP.
PSG to beat Caen (-1 Asian handicap).
It’s quite odd that the Bet365 doesn’t consider Ligue 1 to be a major European league which is why we never see French teams in our acca’s. This week however we can add PSG into the mix and the Parisians at home to Caen this Saturday. The Capital kids haven’t hit the heights of last season and find themselves third in the league. They host Caen, who are somewhat on an unexpected run of form winning their last four, but before that a truer reflection of their ability can be seen as they won just three in 20. PSG get the nod with -1 on the AHCP.
Real Madrid (-1.5 Asian Handicap).
Real Madrid v Deportivo is our third pick on this weekend’s accumulator coupon and we are taking the hosts to win by a few. They were battered last week by their city rivals but luckily for them they have a perfect match to bounce back, to score a lot of goals and get back some confidence. They’ve already beaten the away side 8-2 this season and the last two matches in Madrid ended up 5-1 / 6-1. We are going -1.5 so that means they need to win by two clear goals for this to be successful.
AS Roma to beat Parma (-0.5 Asian Handicap).
AS Roma have become the draw masters in recent weeks, drawing five of their last eight, four of those being at home. They are at home this week but they have the ideal chance to get a win under their belts as they play a Parma side that are rock bottom of Serie A and unsurprisingly have the worst away record in the league. We are going with Roma -0.5 and if they can’t cover that then they’ll never win the league this season.
Barcelona to beat Levante (-2 Asian Handicap).
Moving onto Sunday and we start with Barcelona v Levante. As mentioned last week Barca are scoring for fun and play a Levante side that find themselves in the relegation places. Recent matches between the two have seen Barca win by five, seven, four and five. With Barca’s prolificacy in front of goal I think a similar score line is on the cards so I’m going with the home side -2. Should they only win by two then we are okay as the bet will be voided.
Juventus to beat Cesena (-1 Asian Handicap).
Juventus travel to Cesena and we’ll keep this short and sweet and go with the away side -1 on the AHCP.
Atletico Madrid to beat Celta Vigo.
Finally we come to my bet of the week. I saw this on Monday and thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but they appear to be seeing straight. If I told you that you could get the champions of Spain at odds against, all be it away from home, against a side that have taken just five points from their last 33 and scored just four times in that time you’d think I’d gone cuckoo. But that’s what we have this week as Atlético travel to Celta Vigo. The team from Madrid have won their two matches here, have just lost once in their history at Celta and boast the third best away record in the league. How they are odds against I just don’t know and we go with the straight win here.
Accumulator Odds:
The straight up seven fold comes in at under 9/2 with Winner but with the above tweaks our bet is nearly double that at well over 8/1 with Bet365.
