West Ham and Swansea play in the Premier League on Sunday and we have free football betting tips and a preview of the Super Sunday match.
This Sunday’s weekly instalment of Premier League football begins with West Ham taking on Swansea City down at Upton Park.
Both sides go into the match in good spirits after mid-week success against West Brom and QPR respectively. Sam Allardyce’s men in particular though will be full of confidence after achieving back to back wins in the Premier League. Whilst neither match against Newcastle or West Brom saw the Hammers perform to their full potential, the fact that they still won with so many injuries makes the victories just that little bit more significant. The Upton Park faithful will be hoping see a bit more entertainment however, as although they certainly love the Andy Carroll, seeing nothing but long balls drifted up to their big man won’t go far in winning the fans over.
In regards to Swansea, Gary Monk would have been glad to end his team’s winless streak with mid-week victory over QPR. He will look to Swansea’s undisputed star man, Wilfried Bony, as the Ivorian striker has now recorded the most Premier League goals in this calendar year. Alongside the impressive Gylfi Sigurdsson, Wayne Routledge and Jefferson Montero, Bony may just find the net once more next time out against the Hammers. Wilfried Bony to score anytime is our first West Ham v Swansea betting tip at odds of 15/8 with Labrokes.
Ashley Williams and Kyle Bartley will have to be on their best game at the back however, as West Ham’s strike force have only failed to score on two occasions this season.
Gary Monk has no fresh injury news to bring into this weekend’s fixture which will undoubtedly please the Liberty City faithful. After seeing Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer and Ki Sung-Yeung all face spells on the sidelines early last month, Monk will be hoping no such similar circumstances afflict his squad as Swansea approach the busy Christmas period.
Sam Allardyce has not been able to share the same optimism over injuries however, as he saw the likes of Stewart Downing, Cheikhou Kouyate, Alex Song, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia all fall short of fitness during the international break. Big Sam will however be crossing his fingers that Alex Song and Diafra Sakho make the full squad for the Swansea match, as well as recent injury victim Mark Noble. West Ham will nonetheless have Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll available for the Swans after they were both involved in mid-week goals against West Brom.
Whilst no one expected either of Sam Allardyce’s or Gary Monk’s sides be this high up in the table after a third of the Premier League season has passed, this fixture remains a top of the table clash. Obviously Champions League qualification is likely a step too far for both West Ham and Swansea, but the Europa League may just be on the horizon for this Sunday’s winner.
We are backing West Ham to continue their strong start to the season by beating Swansea and that ties in nicely with Winner.co.uk’s enhanced odds offer of 15/2 for West Ham to win.
