Rotherham have started to slide down the table of late and currently sit just outside the relegation zone. Derby to beat Brighton

The Rams have lost just once at home all season and come up against a club with just a single away victory this term. Brighton have made the play-offs in the last two campaigns but are in a period of transition at present and just securing Championship football for next season is this year’s main aim. This is the kind of match that Derby need to win to tighten their grip on top spot.

Exeter to beat Burton

With the FA Cup taking centre stage this weekend, there is only one fixture in League Two and both teams will be looking to make up ground in the promotion race. Exeter started the season as relegation favourites and were down near the bottom for the first few weeks of the season. They currently sit just outside the play offs after just one league defeat in their last thirteen matches. Burton have had a promising season so far but have lost three of their past four away from The Pirelli Stadium and I think that they will once again find it tough in this one.

Forest Green to beat Altrincham

Forest Green haven't lost in the league at home since September and that was against runaway leaders Barnet. They sit just outside the play offs and will be hoping for a win here to get them into the top five. They have been drawing too many recently but this is just the kind of game that can kick start their season. Altrincham are having a half decent campaign, mainly thanks to eleven goal hit man Damian Reeves but it’s at the other end where the problems lie conceding on average almost two goals a game and I fully expect Forest Green to add to that stat.
