Let’s face it, although Joachim Low and his current world champions have certainly shone themselves in a rather formidable light among Euro 2016 thus far, Germany have seemingly always struggled somewhat when it comes to seeing off the equally impressive and resolute Italians.
Germany have famously never beaten Italy in a major competition before, but although the history books arguably paint a rather promising picture for Antonio Conte’s side going into tonight’s highly anticipated fixture, Italy must remain at their very best in Bordeaux if they are to truly set the international scene alight this summer.
Whilst Germany clearly have a massive task on their hands in beating Antonio Conte’s predictably dogged outfit, Toni Kroos and co. seem to find themselves in full spirits once again this week…

Whatever the outcome of tonight’s big fixture, people are certainly expecting this match-up to prove one to remember for quite some time to come…
Italy + Germany = 8 times world champions( 4 ITA, 4, GER).
Rest of Europe = 3 times.

…with the overall winner likely going down as the out-in-out tournament favourites based on each team’s prior form among the competition so far…
The only thing i'm confident of tipping about the germany/italy game is that the winner will win the tournament. I cant pick a winner

Many nonetheless believe that Germany do in-fact have what it takes to go all the way when all is said and done, arguably representing the safest bet to make it through to the semi-finals alongside Portugal and Wales tonight…
Confident that Germany will finally beat Italy in a tournament, despite Italy's amazing form and defence. #GERITA #JederFeurJeden

…even if Italy remain in pretty strong shape themselves with all things fairly considered…
@SonyLIV Germany have not beaten Italy since June 1995 and it will remain the same.#ITA will march to semi finals tonight. #Euro16OnSonyLIV

So then, as so much history remains woven in to this one particular fixture alone…

…tonight’s game will surely prove somewhat enticing one way or another for Euro 2016 fans far and wide this summer!
#ITA have proven me wrong throughout #EURO2016 . If #GER loses it won't be an upset by any means. Germany and Italy will be a cracking game!
