West Ham face a vital Europa League match with Domzale this week looking to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg, our football predictions include some betting tips for the match.

 

The Hammers went down 2-1 in last week’s first leg to continue what has largely been a disappointing summer of results for Slavan Bilic’s team. Their Europa League opponents Domzale have already kicked off their domestic season and looked the fitter side in last week’s match.

West Ham are playing their first match at the Olympic Stadium and we should expect some fireworks on and off the pitch. If the closing ceremony at Upton Park was anything to go by, it could be a long night. Rumour has it that ceremony is still going on! The Hammers have not had a great summer, winning just once in seven matches and conceding 12 goals in the process. The away goal in Slovenia last week could prove vital and keeping a clean sheet should be enough to see West Ham through to the next round.

I don’t think this second leg will be easy for West Ham but I do expect them to progress. I do fancy both teams to score in this match, mainly because of West Ham’s defensive struggles over the summer and the fact that Domzale bagged a couple of goals in the first leg last week.
