West Brom take on Southampton at the Hawthorns and are taken to continue their good home form this season by taking all three points against the struggling Saints.

West Brom, at the time of writing, stand 8^th in the Premier League and boast the third best home record in the division with four wins in five. Their only loss was to City last time out and if they were a bit savvier in their play, they would have had the W against Mancini’s 10 men.

Southampton on the other hand have played four and lost four on their travels. They played well in defeat first time out against city but since then they have been slapped 6-1, 3-1, 4-1 in the league and come into this after losing 3-0 to Leeds in the Capital One Cup.

The West Brom win is currently 3/4 with Ladbrokes. That’s a tad skinny for me so lets flip reverse it with the West Brom -1 on the handicap which is a tastier option at 23/10 with Ladbrokes & Blue Sq.

Even though Southampton have been spanked like a cheap hooker on their travels they still have managed to bag a goal. BTTS is 4/6 with Bet365.

Lukaku poses a quandary for me in this match. Both he and Long battle it out for the main striking berth and have flip flopped all season with one playing and one on the bench. If he starts I’d be backing him at 11/2 ew for first goalscorer but Clarkey seems to have blocked my number so I cant exactly ask him. That and the restraining order forbids it. If he starts on the bench then the 11/2 for last goalscorer also appeals as he has scored the last goal in three of the four home games he has played in this season.
