Tottenham vs Swansea predictions and this weekend’s Premier League betting tips for Sunday 28th February’s 2.05pm kick off.
Tottenham Hotspur continue their title quest when Swansea City visit White Hart Lane on Sunday and I have three football tips for this one with the best odds included.
Tottenham v Swansea Predictions
Before last weekend, Spurs had been in fantastic form. They'd won five in a row to take them to 2nd in the Premier League table, only two points off leaders Leicester. Last weekend, though, brought a poor performance and a 1-0 defeat as Crystal Palace knocked them out of the FA Cup. Confidence was restored in the Europa League however when they beat the visiting Fiorentina 3-0 to safely seal their way into the last 16 of the competition and they go into this one knowing a win could see them take top spot.
Swansea's problems this season have been well documented. Following a bright start to the season they went into freefall and with that a change of manager as Francesco Guidolin stepped in tasked with keeping the Swans in the top flight. Before last weekends' home defeat to Southampton, Swansea had started to pick up some momentum going on a four game unbeaten run. They're three points off 18th placed Newcastle and if they can get something from this one and at Arsenal, they have three winnable games coming up against teams around them that could see them move further away from the drop zone.
Away from home, Swansea haven't performed too badly at the so-called big clubs. They beat Everton, drew at Chelsea and were unlucky to get nothing from the games at Manchester City and Manchester United so this isn't a foregone conclusion despite what the bookies are saying in their Spurs vs Swansea betting odds. It could be argued that after Thursday's European game and with two London derbies coming up Spurs might take this one lightly. However, with the form they're in they'll need one hell of a bad day for the Jacks to get something from this game. Spurs have scored plenty this season, only Manchester City and Leicester have scored more, and they have the best defensive record in the league conceding just 20 goals all season. They also have a fantastic record against Swansea, they've never been beaten in the Premier League by the Swans, and have won all four meetings between the two at White Hart Lane. I'm not going near odds of 9/20 that some bookies are offering for the home win – instead I like the look of Betfair's odds of 11/8 for Tottenham to win and over 2.5 goals in the match which is my first Tottenham v Swansea prediction.

Harry Kane should play a part after missing the Fiorentina win with a broken nose but Jan Vertonghen, Clinton N'Jie, Moussa Dembele and ex Swans loanee Tom Carroll all miss out. Swansea have a fully fit squad to choose from and could give a first away start to striker Alberto Paloschi and Jeff Montero, who started the season on fire, is pushing to play after falling out of favour in recent weeks.
Spurs have goals from all over the pitch these days. Kane's record over the past two seasons speaks for itself but Dele Alli, Nacer Chadli, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen have all chipped in this term. It's Eriksen who is my pick for an anytime goalscorer tip. He's been in good form of late, having a hand in five goals in his last five appearances, scoring three and setting up two.
My second Tottenham v Swansea prediction is for Eriksen to score anytime. The best odds for Eriksen to score against Swansea are 12/5 at bet365.

This should be a comfortable home victory and for my final Tottenham v Swansea prediction I'm going for Spurs to win both halves. Stan James have the best odds of 5/2, well worth a punt.
