The Premier League throws up some cracking fixtures on Saturday and our tipster has found his best three bets for Saturday's Premier League football.
Arsenal vs. Fulham
Arsenal’s form might leave the majority of Gooners fans looking for clean thunders after match-days and who could blame them. Watching from the Emerald Isle on the Digibox I made after intently studying an episode of MacGyver is perhaps not the best way to judge, but it is obvious in recent years when the pressure is on, Arsenal have been dismissed more often than not at the final whistle of crunch games as a poor team, no leaders etc. providing a journalists dream that Monsieur Wenger has lost the plot.
However, when the press has had their field day, everyone forgets about them for at least five to six games. Arsenal seize this opportunity and seem to score goals for fun, and that’s what I’m banking on this Saturday. Witnessing the hammering Everton gave to Fulham last week will have alarm bells going on in the never ending sour fizzog of Princess Leia’s captor. I can genuinely see Fulham hit a big slide. They had their breaks last week with a last minute goal but they didn’t deserve it, and the staunchest Fulham fan knows they have a hard time coming until Christmas unless the Andy Garcia lookalike unleashes the finger from his nethers.
Verdict: Arsenal to win (-1 handicap) at 6/4 with Blue Square sign up now and get £25 free.
Everton vs. Sunderland
For all of the folically challenged (myself included) its hard to watch someone abuse their god given bonce the way Marouane Feilani has. That said it’s the best Scouse perm seen on Merseyside since Graham Souness heyday, and like Souey, when he’s on form you just don’t mess with him. Honestly I’m surprised given its Movember that he just doesn’t go all out with a top drawer Ronnie for the coup de grâce. This is clearly Everton’s best start to a season as far back as I can remember and star players this year such as Mirallas, Baines and Feilani are really leading a frightening spine to this team for the cost of a bottle of Regaine extra strength.
No matter how hard Sunderland try, they can’t get a ball in the final third and have made Stephen Fletcher look like Superman when they give him a goal to aim at. Martin O’Neill’s team served up a snooze fest to Stoke and losing to Villa last week at home. With Everton’s four consecutive draws this is one Moyes’ men will sniff the win being backed by a happy home crowd this season. I can’t see many goals in this one so I’d go for the Everton to win by one and previous results tell me that the defenders will eye this as a great chance for clean sheet bonus.

Wigan vs. West Bromwich Albion
On paper this is a close one to call. West Bromwich Albion have been buoyed by the excellent start to the season with an incredible 17 points from 10 matches, and they have been very good at home all season having just beaten Southampton convincingly 2-0 last week. This is one game however I fancy Roberto Martinez men to put up a firm test to the midlander’s metal. Watching Wigan’s confidence against Spurs and how they grew into the game, you get the sense they will put a small run together before falling into the wilderness as they tend to before Christmas. Kone is one of the best strikers around the bottom half with his movement and link up play, and I believe this could be his day on Saturday. Perhaps Odemwingie will continue his form after the two goals last week but I feel this is Steve Clarke’s big test to avoid complacency, and its one game he may be happy to take a point from this weekend.

Sneaky peeks first goal scorers:
Andy Carroll’s nightmare last time for Liverpool in St James may be exorcised with his first goal for new club West Ham, Jelavic to get back to scoring for Everton, Rooney to rattle against Villa, and Aguero looked hungry midweek. If he’s starting get on it…
