The sole Capital One Cup tie tonight sees Swansea welcome high flying Championship outfit Middlesbrough to the Liberty Stadium with both clubs in search of a semi-final spot.

With Arsenal eliminated last night and Aston Villa getting the better of Norwich, this competition has been blown wide open and both these sides will fancy a Wembley appearance if they can get through this one.

Premier League outfit Swansea are the favourites at 4/6 with Betfred, the draw is 29/10 with Bet Victor and Middlesbrough are 9/2 with Bet365.

Swansea were beaten 4-3 against Norwich last time out but saw off Liverpool at Anfield in the last round of this competition, coming out 3-1 winners. Before that 4-3 defeat Swansea were unbeaten in four at home, winning twice and picking up creditable draws against Liverpool and Chelsea.

Middlesbrough sit in third place in the Championship table and have only won once in their last four away, that came against rock bottom Peterborough, before that run they had won six on the bounce on the road so the betting might have this one slightly wrong. They have already won four times in this competition away from home this season including a 1-0 win at Premier League Sunderland in the last round.

Interestingly, the last 10 League Cup matches involving Swansea, a goal has been scored in the 88th minute or later. Paddy Power offer 10/11 the last goal is scored after the 74th minute.

Danny Graham has scored four goals in his last five League Cup appearances so if he starts tonight we will have a punt on him to score in the match at 6/4 (Sportingbet).

If you want to bet on a team to win, Swansea are too short so go with Middlesbrough to qualify at 5/2 with Betfred.
