The odds for Chelsea to beat Stoke in the Capital One Cup this week are 11/10 and that is a bet that will certainly tempt a lot of punters in, but are Chelsea too good to refuse?

Before their 2-0 loss at home to Watford at the weekend, Stoke City were in really good form, winning their previous four matches including a 1-0 away win at Fulham in this competition. In the last two seasons Stoke have been knocked out at home by Premier League opposition, a bad omen for them this week.
Chelsea are struggling and Jose Mourinho continues to tinker with his starting line-up, they won 4-1 at Walsall in the last round with the likes of Remy, Falcao and Loftus-Cheek in the side. We’ll probably see a similar Chelsea starting line-up against Stoke this week and Falcao could be leading the line.
Punters are banking on Chelsea’s bad run ending sooner rather than later but given that Mourinho has bigger fish to fry than the League Cup, they cannot be backed against Stoke.
