Football betting tips for this weekend both teams to score and match result coupon from the Football League’s 3pm games with some big odds available.
Despite the party pooper that is the international break, there is a full calendar of football in League One and Two this weekend. We’ve had a forage through the fixture list and found three contenders for a BTTS win treble. The straight accumulator comes in at a whopping 64/1 with Coral, but for those chasing a little insurance, a trixie would return 14/1 for the double with the lowest odds.
Score and Win Accumulator Betting Tips:
Walsall v Bury – Walsall to win BTTS 7/2
Walsall are the early pacesetters in League One this season following an unbeaten run of five matches. The Saddlers drew 1-1 on the opening day, but have won their last four games in a row and three of these wins have been via a BTTS outcome. Their opponents Bury are yet to pick up a victory since their promotion, having drawn four and lost one of their five clashes. They have, however, maintained a 100% record for BTTS matches in these five games – this has come by virtue of being the third highest scorers in the division, with the second worst defence. If this game goes to form, Walsall should win comfortably.
Portsmouth v Accrington – Portsmouth to win BTTS 12/5
Portsmouth have got themselves off to a cracking start in League Two and are unbeaten in their first five league matches. Pompey are the second highest scorers in the division so far and three of their five results have come via a BTTS outcome. Opposition comes in the form of Accrington who have only managed one win so far this campaign, but do have an identical record for BTTS results. Both of the clashes between the two sides last year finished with both teams scoring, if Pompey continue their fine start to the season, we could be in for another here.
Wycombe v Hartlepool – Wycombe to win BTTS 16/5
Following playoff heartbreak last year, Wycombe have begun the 2015/16 season well and currently sit in third place. The Chairboys have yet to taste defeat in the league this season and 14 of their 23 victories last year came via a BTTS outcome. They come up against Hartlepool United, who despite their struggles last term, got off to a flyer this season with three straight wins. Nevertheless, the wheels have started to rock again and they come into the clash with Wycombe off the back of two straight defeats. Chalk this one down as a BTTS win for Gareth Ainsworth’s men.
Best Odds – 64/1 with Coral.
