Football betting tips and predictions for Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa at Loftus Road in Monday Night Football Premier League action.
Two teams desperate for a win tonight as QPR host Aston Villa. Rangers have only won once all season while Villa have suffered four successive defeats after their bright start. Queens Park Rangers are best-priced 7/5 with several bookmakers, a draw is 23/10 and an away day win for Aston Villa is 5/2.

QPR have not scored many goals this season but when they do score it's usually been Charlie Austin. Bobby Zamora's excellent hold-up play was evident against Liverpool last week and if he provides the same on Monday, QPR are sure to get chances. Charlie Austin to score first at 6/1 is a decent looking bet and is my first football betting tip for tonight.
Aston Villa have also struggled for goals recently albeit their four straight defeats without scoring were against Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Everton. However Christian Benteke has now returned to first team action and is likely to feature tonight at Loftus Road. Benteke has been prolific the last two seasons and carries Villa's biggest goal threat – their front three of Weimann, Agbonlahor and Benteke have caused numerous problems for teams much more defensively stable than QPR. An anytime goalscorer bet on Christian Benteke at 21/10 seems like a snip and as such is my second QPR v Aston Villa prediction.
Eduardo Vargas was impressive for Chile at the World Cup this summer and has been impressive when he's featured for QPR so far this season. Vargas came on as a late substitute against Liverpool last week and scored two goals to give The Hoops a glimmer of hope in getting the points. Although they eventually tasted defeat, Vargas' performance is sure to play on the mind of manager Harry Redknapp. Whether he starts or comes on as a late sub again, Vargas scoring is a distinct possibility and I wouldn't be surprised if he popped up with a late winner for his beleaguered side. Vargas Last Goalscorer at 9/1 is my final tip.
