Premier League accumulator tip tonight: There is a host of Premier League action on Wednesday night, and we have put together a treble that pays just over 6/1 on Bet Victor.
Swansea vs. Newcastle – Newcastle win 5/2
After the inconsistent start Newcastle endured it seems unthinkable that they could win five on the bounce. But after a terrific win against West Brom they will travel to Swansea full of confidence. Their opponents, on the other hand, were trounced 3-0 by Man City at the weekend and rarely troubled Valencia in a 1-0 Europa League defeat three days prior.
The Premier League often defies logic so it would be lazy to suggest a team on a good run must beat a team who are struggling. However with Michu and Wilfred Bony out injured Swansea look incredibly blunt. Alvaro has disappointed thus far and Pablo Hernandez is still struggling with injuries.
In contrast Newcastle are revelling in the form of Frenchman Loic Remy, who will is such a deadly finisher. Yoan Gouffran is scoring goals and Moussa Sissoko and Yohan Cabaye are capable of something special.
Defensively Fabricio Coloccini is back from injury and Mike Williamson has hit a good run of form. I expect Newcastle to keep Swansea quiet and with so many attacking threats they should win this match.
Fulham vs. Tottenham – Tottenham 8/11
The big news this week was the sacking of Fulham manager Martin Jol, and teams often play with more freedom after the manager bites the dust. However this Fulham side are in serious trouble.
With Dimitar Berbatov, Adel Taraabt, Darren Bent, Bryan Ruiz and Patjim Kasami as the five attacking options it was always going to be a complete success or an absolute disaster. Unfortunately for the Whites the team just hasn’t gelled, and if Jol’s successor keeps them up he will have done a terrific job.
Their opponents Spurs have also come in for a lot of criticism of late after losing at home to Newcastle before losing 6-0 at Man City. However they played well against Newcastle and it was only a freak performance from Tim Krul that prevented them getting the three points. The battering they took from City was poor, but better teams have been there and received similar punishment.
Tottenham showed they are still a side to be reckoned with in a 2-2 draw with Man United at the weekend, and they should have far too much class for a dishevelled Fulham.
Arsenal vs. Hull – Arsenal 2/9
Out of the two short price bets on Wednesday I would suggest everyone includes Arsenal in their bets instead of Liverpool at a similar price.
The Gunners are in red-hot form and are rightfully top of the league. The key has been the back four which has been watertight since Per Mertersacker and Laurent Koscielny bonded early this year. And as long as Arsenal keep Hull quiet you can trust in Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud to provide at the other end.
Hull will be buoyant after beating a poor Liverpool side on Sunday, but this could play into Arsenal’s hands as they could find space on the counter attack. Arsenal used to struggle against teams who would sit back and keep men behind the ball. However Ozil has changed everything with his incredibly accurate weight of pass. I can see nothing but a comfortable home win.
