After missing out by just one goal on this treble last week, Will is back having another stab at finding three games where three or more goals will be scored.
Leeds United v Watford, Saturday November 10th, 3pm – 4/6
When Watford make the journey north to face Leeds this weekend there is sure to be goals.
When on the road Watford have shown a horrendous defence, conceding 13 in their 3 games so far, but have managed to find the net often also, having notched up 8 on their travels. With goalscorers such as Matej Vydra and Almen Abdi in their ranks, the Hornets will give Leeds a stern test, and it is unlikely the home side will come away with a clean sheet. But likewise can be said for the visitors. Having found the net 9 times in their 3 matches at Elland Road already this season it is fair to say we can count on Leeds for goals, especially with Luciano Becchio in such fine form.
Wolves v Brighton, Saturday November 10th, 3pm – 5/6
Brighton have put a halt to their 7 game unbeaten run with a victory over Peterborough on Tuesday night, and the confidence from finally collecting 3 points should see them find the net against a Wolves side who are sure to score at home.
This bet may seem a little iffy with Brighton who have been involved in 6 1-0’s in their 15 games already this season, but Wolves have had 7 games so far where 3 goals or more have been seen. They’re defence has only seen a clean sheet twice in 7 attempts since the beginning of October, whereas in the same space of time they have found the net in every match. Brighton are capable of goals when defences give them room, and as Wolves will be concentrating at the other end, expect more than 3 goals in this tie.
Coventry v Scunthorpe, Saturday November 10th, 3pm – Evens
The Ricoh Arena is used to seeing goals and this trend will continue this weekend when Scunthorpe visit.
Coventry have netted 10 in their last 6 home matches, which is the same figure as Scunthorpe have allowed in their last 6 on their travels. Despite their goalscoring form at home Coventry have been struggling in League 1 this season, and this game will test them further, as Brian Law’s return has given a massive confidence boost for the Iron. Coventry have showed they have a leaky defence, having conceded 23 this season, and Scunthorpe should exploit this to grab a goal away from home, which Coventry will have a response to, and this tie will produce 3 goals for us.
